The tournament runs from June 11 until July 19, 2026. FOX and FS1 will broadcast every World Cup game in English. Spanish-language broadcasts of every World Cup game will air on Telemundo and Universo.

Where to watch for free

There are several ways to watch World Cup games for free in 2026. Viewers who want games in Spanish can get Peacock for free with services like Walmart+ and Instacart. English-language broadcasts on FOX and FS1 are available on multiple services that offer free trials.

World Cup games can also be streamed free through Walmart+. Available channels for the event include FOX, FS1, Telemundo, and Universo. Streaming options listed for the tournament include FOX One, Peacock, DirecTV, Fubo, and more.

  • FOX One: free trial options include 7 days in one listing and 3 days in a dedicated FOX One section
  • Fubo: 5-day free trial
  • DirecTV: 5-day free trial on any tier
  • YouTube TV: 21-day free trial listed as the longest trial among these services, with a separate promotional offer of 10 days free
  • Antenna: access to Fox stations at no cost

YouTube TV

YouTube TV includes the channels needed to watch the 2026 World Cup: Fox, FS1, Universo, and Telemundo. A current promotional deal offers $67.99 per month for the first five months, then $82.99 per month thereafter, with a 10-day free trial. YouTube TV livestreams tend to run a slight delay, which is not ideal for viewers trying to follow a live game down to the exact second.

DirecTV

DirecTV's Entertainment tier is currently $59.99 for the first month, then $89.99 per month thereafter. That tier includes nearly every channel needed for the World Cup: Fox, FS1, and Telemundo. DirecTV Entertainment also comes with free ESPN Unlimited, which provides access to every ESPN channel. DirecTV offers a 5-day free trial on any tier. After the free trial and new subscriber month deal on DirecTV's Entertainment tier, the monthly price goes up to $89.99 per month.

FOX One

FOX One is a relatively new streaming service from FOX that launched last summer. With a FOX One subscription, viewers can tune in to FOX News, FOX Sports, FOX Weather, FS1, FS2, FOX Business, FOX Deportes, Big Ten Network (B1G), and local FOX stations in one place. FOX One offers live programming, as well as shows and movies on demand. At launch, the base price for FOX One costs $19.99 a month, or viewers can save with an annual subscription for $199.99. Before committing, FOX One can be tried free for 3 days, which allows viewers to catch at least a few World Cup games at no charge.
