Data Deletion Instructions
If you have shared personal information with Anonymous Gamer, you can request that we delete it. This page explains what we store and how to submit a deletion request.

Anonymous Gamer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://anonymousgamer.org, an independent gaming news and analysis site. We collect only limited personal information, and you may request deletion of data we hold about you at any time.
What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with Anonymous Gamer, we may store:
- Newsletter subscription: your email address if you sign up for updates
- Contact messages: your email address and any content you send when you contact us directly
- Facebook / Meta app data: information you authorize when connecting our app to your Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account (such as your name, email, or page permissions)
- Site usage data: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and general visit patterns collected through server logs and analytics
We do not sell your personal information.
How to request data deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, email us at:
Please include the following in your message:
- The email address associated with your data (if applicable)
- Your Facebook / Meta account email if you connected through our app integration
- A brief description of what you would like deleted (e.g., newsletter subscription, app connection data)
- Confirmation that you are requesting permanent deletion of your personal data
We will verify your request and respond within 30 days. Newsletter subscribers may also unsubscribe immediately using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
What happens after your request
When we process a valid deletion request, we will:
- Remove your email from our newsletter list and mailing provider
- Delete stored contact messages tied to your email address
- Revoke and delete data received through Facebook / Meta app connections
- Stop using your personal information for any purpose other than legal compliance
Some anonymized or aggregated analytics data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you may be retained. We may also retain limited information where required by law or to resolve disputes.
Facebook / Meta app users
If you connected to Anonymous Gamer through a Facebook, Instagram, or Threads app integration, you can also remove app permissions from your Meta account settings:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove Anonymous Gamer
- Instagram / Threads: use the connected apps section in your Meta account settings
To delete any personal data we received through that connection, send a deletion request to mlkabawan@gmail.com with the email address linked to your Meta account.
