A poll about Grand Theft Auto VI has gone viral after the GTA Unlimited channel asked fans on X whether they would prefer an on-schedule release locked at 30 frames per second or a six-month delay to target 60 FPS. The question drew unusual attention online and reportedly spread to Reddit, where it pulled more than 1,400 comments within a day on the GTA 6 subreddit.

Frame rate has been a recurring concern in fan discussions, tied in part to current-generation console limits and the fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 still has not received a 60 FPS update. In the viral thread, sentiment appears largely one-sided in favor of shipping the game sooner rather than holding out for higher performance.

Release today, 15 FPS.

That top-voted reply captures the mood many posters expressed: major performance compromises may be acceptable if it means GTA 6 finally launches. For console players, 30 FPS in a large open-world title still appears tolerable to a wide segment of the audience, while PC players may expect stronger options when that version arrives later.
