Insider NateTheHate recently weighed in on X when asked about a possible delay, expressing confidence that Rockstar would not miss the planned November window. He did not claim to have heard specific problems with the game's development, but his read on the timeline has drawn attention given his recent track record, including an Ocarina of Time Remake leak months ahead of its announcement.

Unless something unexpected and catastrophic goes wrong with GTA 6 in the immediate future… it'll hit in November as planned.

Take-Two has also reaffirmed the November 19 date after Grand Theft Auto 6 was delayed twice following multiple launch announcements, leaving many players cautious even when the window is stated officially.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said during a recent investors call that GTA 6 marketing is not expected to begin until summer 2026, with Rockstar planning to start promotion once the season arrives.

So the next few weeks, I don't think it'll be summertime yet. But when it's summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing GTA 6. I think we've been really clear that we're releasing the title on November 19.

With summer in North America often counted from June 21, fans may not see a third GTA 6 trailer until at least late June, and marketing could slip toward mid-July. Zelnick also confirmed pre-orders will not open until after that marketing push begins, which likely pushes any pricing reveal into June or July as well.
