Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said during that call the company remains on track to begin marketing Grand Theft Auto 6 this summer. Pricing will likely arrive once pre-orders go live, which could happen soon given those remarks, but the silence has fans speculating about what Rockstar may charge for the base game and deluxe editions.

Discussion on Reddit suggests many players expect a $70 base price, with greater anxiety around premium and limited edition costs that could climb well above that floor. Some believe the continued delay may mean Take-Two and Rockstar are still weighing a higher cost of entry behind the scale of the launch.

Rockstar knows they can sell it at any price point they want, but it will be good PR to just slap the base game at $70 then do whatever the hell stupid number they want for the limited edition to get the whale dollars.
This will be the single biggest media launch of all time. [Even] if they upped the price to $80-$100 people would still buy it in droves. Point being that it sounds to me like they are still considering charging more for this single game and selling that under the 'biggest game ever' justification.
I will not purchase this game on principle if they look to start the trend of £100 games.

Until Take-Two and Rockstar publish an official dollar amount, players tracking the fall release will keep debating whether Grand Theft Auto 6 sticks to the standard $70 entry point or pushes higher.
