Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders are reportedly set to open in four days, and a European retailer listing may have offered an early look at what fans could pay. French retailer fnac appears to have posted five physical editions tied to Rockstar codenames, all dated for a November 19 launch, the day GTA 6 is planned to release.
The listings span a broad price range between €90 and €200, though they may be placeholders rather than final Rockstar pricing. Official numbers are expected on June 25.
Big triple A releases in Europe generally run €79.99, so the lower end of the leaked range would mark roughly a €10 bump. Five separate physical SKUs would be an unusually wide spread for a Rockstar launch. Red Dead Redemption 2 shipped with a standard edition, special edition, ultimate edition, and a collector's box that did not include the game itself.
Reportedly, most tier increases sit around €10 apart, with RS5 likely representing a collector's style package at the top of the range. Special and ultimate style editions may include steelbook packaging and in-game bonuses such as vehicles or outfits, similar to past Rockstar releases.
- RS5, presumably the highest priced collector's tier
Industry chatter has long centered on whether GTA 6 could push the standard edition toward €100 amid rising development costs. The title has been tied to a rumoured budget between $1 billion and $1.5 billion. Red Dead Redemption 2 cost around $240 million to produce before marketing, making GTA 6's reported scale significantly larger if those figures hold.
