Official pricing has not been locked in ahead of preorders opening. The last entry in the series, Grand Theft Auto V, launched with a $59.99 base price. On Kalshi, a federally authorized betting platform, more than $1 million has been wagered on a contract for the PS5 price of GTA VI. Bettors assign over 98% probability to a price above $60, with more than 52% expecting above $70 and about 25% expecting above $80. Fans may get a clearer answer on pricing in the days ahead of the preorder window.
Take-Two has held to the November 19, 2026 release date after prior delays. On Thursday, Take-Two Interactive shares closed regular trading up 4.93% at $239.28, with markets closed Friday for Juneteenth. Rep. Thomas Kean Jr. (R-N.J.) disclosed in April that he sold Take-Two stock, among other holdings, ahead of the GTA VI launch window.
