Pre-orders will be available through digital storefronts and at retailers, which may put to rest earlier talk that Grand Theft Auto VI would not receive a physical edition. The June 25 announcement arrived alongside another short reveal that included no gameplay and no cinematic footage, but did show the official cover art.
The artwork follows the classic GTA collage look, with multiple key characters and locations featured in individual frames. An alligator on the cover is already drawing attention. Fans can download the image directly through the Grand Theft Auto VI website.
Grand Theft Auto VI remains scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Take-Two has pointed to a heavier marketing push beginning this summer, which could mean another trailer is on the way before June is out.
