Qatar suffered a 6-0 defeat to Canada in its second 2026 World Cup group stage match, leaving the team with one point through two games as Group B tightens during the tournament's second round of fixtures.
Qatar opened the group with a 1-1 draw before the loss to Canada. Bosnia and Herzegovina also took a setback, falling 4-1 to Switzerland on Thursday. Both sides now appear positioned on the edge of the knockout picture heading into their third and final group game on June 24 in Seattle.
Qatar must beat Bosnia and Herzegovina to keep any realistic path to the Round of 32 alive. Under the expanded 48-team format, the top two finishers from each of 12 groups advance along with the eight best third-place teams.
Limited tickets for Qatar vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina remain available, including on the resale market where prices may fluctuate. Listings showed the cheapest entry at $331 in Section 327 at time of publication.
