Take Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick recently stated that Grand Theft Auto VI remains on track for its planned launch date and that marketing for the title would kick off this summer. The game is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The latest entry in the franchise is set in Leonida, a fictional state heavily inspired by Florida, and follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a romantically involved crime duo who become embroiled in a statewide conspiracy after a failed bank heist. Rockstar originally announced a Fall 2025 release window before delaying the game to May 2026 and later settling on November 2026.
