The announcement lands ahead of a November 19, 2026 release window for both console platforms. Rockstar paired the pre-order news with official cover art, also made available as downloadable artwork.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other retailers.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set in the Floridian-inspired state of Leonida, with Vice City returning as a fan-favorite locale. The game follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos through a crime drama built around Leonida's criminal underworld and a larger conspiracy. Rockstar has billed the project as its most ambitious Grand Theft Auto entry to date, with a large open world and highly detailed visuals. Most marketing so far has leaned on cinematic footage, leaving gameplay still largely unseen ahead of launch.
