Rockstar said in May 2024 that the game would no longer arrive in fall 2025 and instead moved to May 26, 2026. That window was pushed back another six months in November 2024 to the current November 19, 2026 date, roughly 13 years after Grand Theft Auto V.
When the interviewer asked when GTA 6 is coming out, Zelnick answered directly.

The clip also shows the creator captioning the question as “GTA XI” while asking when the game is coming out. Zelnick went on to cite Take-Two revenue of $6.7 billion in 2025 and a projected figure of a little over $8 billion for this year when asked about earnings.
On business advice, Zelnick said:
Never compromise your integrity. It’s the only thing you have.
Asked whether people should chase their passion, he offered a more measured take.
I think that’s terrible advice, half the time. People should chase the intersection of what they’re good at and what they like to do, with emphasis on what you’re good at.
Do that and the world will probably open up to you.
With about five months left on the calendar before that November date, Zelnick’s off-the-cuff answer appears to reflect continued confidence inside Take-Two that Rockstar will hold to the current schedule, though fans will still be watching closely after the earlier delays.
