In a post on social media, NateTheHate offered a direct read on the timeline:

Unless something unexpected & catastrophically goes wrong with GTA VI in the immediate future... it'll hit in November as planned

NateTheHate is widely regarded as a reliable insider with past calls that later lined up with official announcements, including Nintendo remakes for Star Fox and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Even so, the November date has not been reconfirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, and the claim should still be treated as insider chatter rather than an official lock.

Rockstar is rumored to begin marketing GTA 6 this summer, potentially alongside pre-order availability. Pre-orders for the title are reportedly expected in July or August 2026, which could line up with a broader promotional push. There is also ongoing talk that the last major update for GTA Online may arrive next month, a window some fans read as a natural handoff point before Rockstar turns full attention to GTA VI.

Expectations for an earlier pre-order window surfaced weeks ago after a Best Buy affiliate email circulated to websites and creators listing GTA 6 as a new product with a May 18 to May 21 window. That pre-order push never materialized. A further delay might have been expected by now, especially around Take-Two's recent earnings call, where a major slip likely would have drawn comment. For now, November 19 remains the date insiders and fans are circling.
